Quizzes

A Quiz is a group of questions that can be sent to reps for them to answer. A quiz can have a title, description, a start date and an end date. Create New Quiz

Create Quiz

Go to Quizzes Create New Quiz  

Divisions

Quizzes comes with division. Click on Divisions Select from dropdown list  

Search

Quizzes comes with search. Click on Search bar Type in quiz title Search  

• Quiz Description – Description of the quiz in a few words.
• Do you want time to be enabled for this quiz?– Check this option if you want this quiz to be timed. Enter the number of minutes within which the quiz takers will have to complete the quiz.
• Add result to all Leaderboards – Unchecked this option if you don’t want the results and scores of this quiz to be added to Leaderboards.
• Allow multiple attempts for this quiz? – Check this option if you want quiz takers to be able to take this quiz till they score a minimum percentage. Enter the percentage in the text box below.
• Allow Quiz Retake – Check this option if you want quiz takers to be able to retake this quiz on their own.
• Start Date – Click on the calendar icon to select a start date of the quiz. The quiz will become available to the quiz takers from this date
• End Date - Click on the calendar icon to select an end date of the quiz. The quiz will cease to become available to the quiz takers from this date.
• Attach to Competitions - You can choose to add this quiz to an ongoing competition. Goto Section Competitions to know more about competitions.
• Allow Answers Review - You can uncheck to prevent the users from seeing the answers for the quiz played.

Add Questions to Quiz

Once you have completed the steps in create quiz , you can now add questions to the quiz. Select questions by searching with the different search criteria and checking the checkbox to the left of each question. The search criteria are the same as explained in question bank search and question bank advance search

After selecting the questions, click on Save button. Next, we can assign the quiz to quiz takers.

Assign Quiz to Quiz Users

Once you have completed the steps in create quiz and AddQuestion , you can now assign this quiz to different quiz takers. You can use several search criteria to select people to assign the quiz and the check the checkboxes to the left of the people to whom you want to assign the quiz. Click on Save button at the bottom of the page.

Quiz Types

There are different types of quizzes that can be created within Smartwinnr. You can use this simple list to decide on which quiz type will suit your case.

Quiz Time Zone

Quiz time zone takes the browser time zone. If Quiz is created for different time zone then

1 Go to View all Quizzes Click Quiz  

2 Click on Edit button Select Time Zone Click on Save Changes button  

How to create an automatic quiz ?

Click on Quiz Type Select Automatic Division Select Division Auto Mode Type Default Auto Mode  

Click on Quiz Title

Click on Quiz Description

Type in the description of the quiz with selecting start date and end date.

Default Auto Mode Setting

Default auto mode setting is to set the quiz to be sent in what interval of time, how many questions will be sent and what will be the shuffle of the question. These can be set in various ways

• How to set an interval for delivering quiz?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter no. of days in Frequency of Quiz Deliver in days  

• How to set the number of quiz per set?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter number of question per quiz  

• How to stop repeated question which has been marked correct by the user?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter number of correct responses for question to stop it from being repeated  

• what will the percentage of questions assigned from unanswered questions?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter value Default value is 40%  

• What will be the percentage of questions assigned from incorrectly answered questions?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter value Default value is 30%  

• What will be the percentage of questions assigned from questions that have been correctly answered at least once?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter value Default value is 20%  

• What will be the percentage of questions assigned from questions that have been correctly answered all the time?

Click on Default Auto Mode Enter value Default value is 10%

How to create a duplicate quiz?

Duplicate Quiz is to create same quiz.

1 Go to View all Quizzes Quiz New Window appears Duplicate Yes New Window Comes Save Changes  

a. Click on duplicate button

b. Click yes button on pop up window

c. New Window Save Changes  

Quiz Competition

After creating duplicate quiz. Add the quiz to competition.

Click on Add button Click on Competition on pop-up window Save  

How do I give access to my quizzes to other users?

Sometimes you might want to provide access to quizzes created by you to other team members. You can do that easily using the following steps:

1 Go to a the specific quiz and click on the Access Permission link from the 3-dot menu.

** Quiz Access Permission **

2 Select the users to whom you would like to give the quiz access and save.

3 The users you have selected in the previous step can now view this quiz in the Other Quizzes tab

How to edit quiz?

To make any changes on a quiz.

1 Go to View All Quizzes Quiz New Window appears Edit Yes New Window Comes Save Changes  

2 Click on Save Changes button

How to extend end date of a quiz?

Extend End date is to extend the last date of the quiz. Extension is possible only when no one has taken the quiz. If anyone has taken the quiz,then it will show

Warning: Some users have already taken the quiz. Only end date, competition image can be changed

Go to View All Quizzes Quiz Edit End date Select the Date Save Changes  

How to view all quizzes?

View all quizzes will show the quizzes based on the division.
